Susan Dunphy ~ CEO
Susan Dunphy established Grapevine Staffing in 1994 then added the Direct-Hire division in 2000. Susan was born and raised in Sacramento, California and moved to Iowa in 1990. While in California, she worked as a Software Computer Trainer and also owned a Human Resource Consulting Firm. When moving to the Midwest, she discovered that there were very few recruiters that serviced the Midwest. This encouraged the development of this recruitment firm. Since then Grapevine have emerged into a full recruitment firm. Providing Temporary Staffing for Production, Clerical and Accounting as well as a Direct-Hire division for Engineering, Plant Manager, Controllers, Administrative and all disciplines in the Manufacturing arena. Susan is a work-a-holic and loves being a recruiter. She calls it FUN and EXCITING; it is never work to her. She has the passion it takes to be a great personal recruiter.
Megan Weaver ~ Recruiter/Account Manager
I started my recruiting career in 1999 as a medical recruiter. Since 2005 I have been a recruiter for Grapevine Direct Hire working with clients in all facets of business. I began recruiting for various engineering positions along with procurement and environmental disciplines. My recruiting focus is now geared mainly in the Manufacturing arena for engineering and procurement needs. I am also one of the trainers for Grapevine Direct Hire.
I have a passion for meeting and talking to people but most of all placing people in their ideal career! There is a certain thrill recruiters feel when they find the "perfect" candidate for the "perfect" job and that is what makes recruiting so fulfilling. I not only satisfy my clients employment needs but also help our candidates get to the next level in their careers.
Kathy Achenbach - Temp Staffing Manager
Kathy's 9 years plus in the Staffing Industry has provided her the necessary background to develop and manage accounts for several clients while establishing long term relationships. Over the years, she has successfully established the knowledge of human resources and managing her candidates, clients and the daily changes and there increasing needs The Staffing Industry is an every day challenge, a new learning experience, and an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment every day.
Heather Scarberry - Direct Hire Recruiter/Account Manager
My experience with Grapevine started out as a Temporary Field Staff Employee working for their clients. In 2006 Grapevine hired me as a full time office staff employee.
I began as Office Manager, advanced into a Temp Staffing Assistant, then was promoted to a Direct Hire Recruiter.
In my current role as a Recruiter, I have found this is where my heart lies. I enjoy being a recruiter and helping my candidate's achieve their goals. Here at Grapevine Staffing, we not only place our candidates in the positions that they desire, we also learn about our candidate and their family. We go above and beyond to make our candidates and clients feel special, like they are part of our family here.
