Susan Dunphy ~ CEO

Susan Dunphy established Grapevine Staffing in 1994 then added the Direct-Hire division in 2000. Susan was born and raised in Sacramento, California and moved to Iowa in 1990. While in California, she worked as a Software Computer Trainer and also owned a Human Resource Consulting Firm. When moving to the Midwest, she discovered that there were very few recruiters that serviced the Midwest. This encouraged the development of this recruitment firm. Since then Grapevine have emerged into a full recruitment firm. Providing Temporary Staffing for Production, Clerical and Accounting as well as a Direct-Hire division for Engineering, Plant Manager, Controllers, Administrative and all disciplines in the Manufacturing arena. Susan is a work-a-holic and loves being a recruiter. She calls it FUN and EXCITING; it is never work to her. She has the passion it takes to be a great personal recruiter.

Originally from Des Moines, I found my way to Creston and became a part of the Grapevine family. I recently graduated with my degree in Business Administration: Sales and Marketing and will be pursuing degrees in Graphic Design and Photography. My experience with Grapevine started out as a Temporary Field Staff Employee working for their clients. In 2006 Grapevine hired me as a full time office staff employee. I began as Office Manager, advanced into a Temp Staffing Assistant, then was promoted to a Direct Hire Recruiter.

In my current role as a Recruiter, I have found this is where my heart lies. I enjoy being a recruiter and helping my candidate's achieve their goals. Here at Grapevine Staffing, we not only place our candidates in the positions that they desire, we also learn about our candidate and their family. We go above and beyond to make our candidates and clients feel special, like they are part of our family here.
