Now Hiring: Title: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR Location: Creston, IA Responsibilities `` Maintain a clean and safe work place utilizing the 5-S principle. `` Research and initiate any and all cost saving measures. `` Maintain their respective departments productivity boards on a daily basis. `` Meet and strive to exceed efficiency and productivity goals. `` Respond to and initiate corrective actions in a timely manner to all rework and scrap issues. `` Document and initiate all disciplinary actions regarding their employees strictly following and adhering to the Union contract. `` To review with each employee his or her performance. `` To ensure all procedures and work instructions are up to date and maintained. `` To enforce adherence to all procedures and work instructions. `` To maintain and adhere to all ISO requirements through self and internal audits. `` To actively promote safety. `` To flow down to all employees all information pertinent to running their departments. `` To actively participate in and to promote team projects. `` To encourage employee involvement in continuous improvement at every opportunity throughout the workday. `` Accurate and timely completion of all administrative documents associated with their respective departments including but not limited to unit vacation scheduling, attendance verification and documentation of any internal training of their employees. Tracking of employee documentation using BLISS software This position will be trained on 1st shift. But the permanent position will be on 2nd shift.

Requirements: Manufacturing background Successful history of team leading employees & strong supervisory skills Detailed and Self Starter Computer savvy Minimum B.A. Degree 10-Years recent experience in manufacturing 5-Years recent experience as supervisor
