Description:
I have an opening for an Electrical Engineer in Iowa. This person must be strong with AC/DC Power Supply design. Please review and let me know if you are interested. Primary responsibilities include all aspects of AC/DC Power Supply design from conception to production release, including; creating system architecture, design and engineering, specification of parts, bill of materials, prototype creation, hands on testing and trouble shooting, cost analyses, and documentation of test reports. This position also requires working with vendors and manufacturing engineers to create manufacturable designs that meet Company`s quality objectives. Working with service and operations personnel is also required.

Requirement - Experience: - Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with ten or more years experience in an electronic design role. Must have experience with hardware design of microprocessor / microcontroller-based systems, Power Factor Corrected (PFC) converter topologies, analog/digital circuit design, schematic capture, and building and debugging prototypes (through-hole and surface-mount). Proficiency in magnetic design, familiarity with all PWM topologies, Knowledge of safety and EMI standards, circuit simulation, stability analysis, drawing systems, change notice systems, and multi-level BOMs is preferred. The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings is also preferred. While not required, preference will be given to candidates with FPGA design and firmware development experience.
